Connection Groups
God created us for community! Connection groups are where we build community in similar life stages. We connect and encourage through small group meetings both on and off campus.
In these groups, you will experience fellowship, Biblical studies, and prayer as we seek to make friends, meet needs, and make disciples.
Worship Ministry
Worship is an essential part of the Christian journey. The worship team serves to lead the congregation in meaningful, God-honoring, Christ-centered worship. If you have a passion for the worship ministry of the church, then you can “get involved.” We are always searching for gifted musicians and singers, as well as those who want to serve on our technical team.
Women’s Ministry
Skycrest Women’s Ministry is a place to grow in God’s Word, build meaningful friendships, and walk through life together. Whether you’re new to Bible study or have walked with Jesus for years, you’ll find encouragement, connection, and purpose in every season of life.
Men’s Ministry
Men wear a lot of different hats. We are husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, friends, employees and employers. Finding success in each of those roles is extremely challenging…but not impossible. Our Men’s Ministry aims to establish a band of brothers that is committed to equipping and encouraging each other to become the men of God that our families and our times call for. Come join us as we work to become the men God created us to be!
First Impressions
You’ve heard it said that you only have one chance to make a good first impression. That’s not only true in relationships it is true for the church as well. Studies show that people determine if they will ever return to a church within the first five minutes of their first visit-well before they ever hear a song or a sermon. The First Impressions team serves as greeter and hosts to let people know they are welcome at Skycrest and loved by God.
Prayer Team
Prayer is not only a declaration of faith; it is the conduit through which God works. On Wednesday mornings, our prayer team is emailed a short devotion from the Psalms, and a list of requests for which our church is praying. If you are called to the ministry of intercession, then this team is for you.
